The volume is comparable to other power supplies
I have this power supply on my work PC. The power supply generates a quiet continuous hum and heats up even under load in idle mode from an i7 of the 8th generation without a GPU. I guess I hardly download it. Edit: After installing the GTX 1050 it got pretty loud. I'd say about as much sound as a box fan at the lowest settings.
