I bought this 38 ounce scoop for scooping corn into bags. A busy day at a farmers market can mean 5 to 6 hours of almost non-stop scooping, so a lightweight shovel with a comfortable grip is essential to prevent fatigue. This shovel is definitely lightweight, but it's only 3-1/4 inches long and the handle is too short for even my wife's small hands. The handle isn't very rounded either, but it's quite rounded in shape, and the sharp edges of the raised letters can cause blistering throughout the day. There are rough scuff marks on the edges of the blade and quite a bit of pitting on the outer surface, but at this price point you probably shouldn't expect a high quality finish. If you don't need to use the scoop for more than a minute or two at a time, this might work for you, but it just doesn't work for us and is being returned.
