Bought for my cat. My sister bought me one for Christmas and the cat liked it so much he ended up using it. I have now adopted two more cats from the shelter and they want their own. So I ordered two more. They love her so! They like to hide in the tail of the fish. However, the yarn is so soft that I would use it on myself. It doesn't scratch and the yarn doesn't fray as easily, if at all. Our cats play with them every day - on them, under them, everywhere - and we have yet to see the yarn fray.
