I don't know what caused all these bad reviews. This is an amazing cradle, SPECIALLY for the price. EVERY cradle is a bit rocky. This may be intentional. But honestly, this one doesn't even rock as hard as the more expensive ones in the store, which aren't made to rock either. I've also read that some people don't like the sheet it comes with. I don't understand this either. I bought a gray quilted mattress protector/saver, I think this was the one recommended to buy with this one and after looking at a few others this was the best deal. So he added a little extra padding and the included sheet is similar to my Costco microfiber sheets. It's not quite rough, quite soft, but durable. As you can see from the picture the sheet fits exactly as it should so your baby doesn't suffocate. Like it better than the extra sheet I bought for it. I find the bassinet looks better and is easiest to use without the small cover/hood. I don't know, I can't think of any official terminology. But anyway, the color is like a purple-brown and I really like it. And the small storage space underneath is like a baffle hammock, very simple. Easy to assemble, easy to clean, 5 stars. 100%
