I'm glad I bought this radio. I can't believe the audio, it's clear and can get louder if you want it. I mainly use it to listen to AM and FM talk radio. When I move from one area to another, the radio stays with me in my shirt pocket. The strap is great for hanging anywhere there is no secure place to mount the radio. The reception is good. I live in Central Florida and I'm in the country. I didn't have to extend the antenna to support reception, it works by itself.
