I really like this radio it's no frills great reception uses 2 AA batteries batteries last a long time better reception than the very similar ones I bought 4 years ago . before, but the best reception for hundreds of channels, I use it for 4 hours. Knight listening to Coast2Coast and Beats lasts about 6 months. Really happy to replace my old one with this one, thought it might have a better tech antenna and it does, my description is good value, good tech and long battery life. Life.

I'm glad I bought this radio. I can't believe the audio, it's clear and can get louder if you want it. I mainly use it to listen to AM and FM talk radio. When I move from one area to another, the radio stays with me in my shirt pocket. The strap is great for hanging anywhere there is no secure place to mount the radio. The reception is good. I live in Central Florida and I'm in the country. I didn't have to extend the antenna to support reception, it works by itself.

We liked it at first. But now, after almost 2 months, it broke. Won't work at all. I do not know why. It just played well, then it started hissing badly, and now it won't turn on at all, so we threw it away. And yes, we tried some new batteries. BUT. After I posted this review, the company responded in less than a day and gave me a 100% refund! That impressed me. So a very good company to order. I'm ordering one hoping it will work better and maybe the first one was just defective.

At first I was worried, this is a very light and very old technology. Reminds me of something from the 60's. Although the reception is amazing. I bought it because others commented on it. I want to listen to the local minor league baseball team at work. The factory is a building on a metal frame with many fluorescent lights, computers and electric motors. My other radios don't work at all. Crystal clear reception with this radio! Speakers 5 in fidelity but 8.5 in volume. Perfect for what I want

This little AM/FM radio really works on AM! I have an old AM radio that I bought at an antique store. to shame. Wouldn't be surprised if I actually heard the late Art Bell talk about how distant the stations this thing can pull out and understand. It's worth the surprisingly low price. And as you can see from the photos it was even packaged in a box with gold reflective reflective elements which I think shows a sense of pride in what the company offers.

Full Disclosure: I am a radio amateur. I used to fall asleep with a transistor radio under my pillow, fascinated by gossip from around the country. Since then I think radio has gotten cheaper. I've never seen one that matched the reception capability of these older models. I've tried radios that claim to have more crystals, more diodes, more of anything that gives the radio the ability to get clear reception from distant stations. Not impressed.
