Full Disclosure: I am a radio amateur. I used to fall asleep with a transistor radio under my pillow, fascinated by gossip from around the country. Since then I think radio has gotten cheaper. I've never seen one that matched the reception capability of these older models. I've tried radios that claim to have more crystals, more diodes, more of anything that gives the radio the ability to get clear reception from distant stations. Not impressed. Until now. i live in the wild A real dead zone covered by mountains. No cell phone, no radio. Nothing. Vondior has more stations than I ever imagined. Incredible reception from such a small package.
