Many quilters use these clips for a variety of reasons. Decided to try them. This particular product is difficult to use when you have arthritis. Tight springs and not easy to open. They were inexpensive. Just got back from Quilt Retreat and compared them to other brands of quilts. You get what you pay for, my best answer. I will try a better brand if I decide to buy back. If I could send them back I would, but the only way to open the package was to cut off the top. They will be placed in the mission box.
