Not sure if this is a defective unit. Revan sends a replacement. I'll update when I have a good block. I plugged the cord into the outlet and heard a loud bang. I smelled burning electrical components so I turned it off. Then I saw smoke coming out of the power supply. I'm glad I didn't leave it on, or I'm glad it did while I was there. I still can't believe how cheap it is. As I said, I'll update later when the next block works. Everything was there to connect an IDA hard drive to a USB 2.0 port.
