Glorious reviews were very embarrassing. I returned mine. I have been using felt filter socks for many years - 100u and 200u. I tested a 100 micron nylon filter against a 2.5 year old 100 micron felt filter at 2 day intervals (this is my typical sock change interval). The felt filter effectively catches dirt, while the nylon counterpart bought here stays practically clean. My 2.5 year old felt filters have been machine washed over 100 times. While I doubt they are still effective at 100u, they are significantly more effective than the new nylon sock equivalents of the same size.
