Review on 🚗 Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 LED Fog Light Mount Brackets - No Drilling/Cutting Required by Dasen by Matt Chirila

While waiting to weld a new truck bumper I bought a local OEM (previously worked in the aftermarket) at a good price until I can find some time with a welder . I have original fog lights, but I ordered a set of yellow LED fog lights to install in my new bumper (actually 2 sets). Rather than just leave them alone until I'm done with this job, I ordered these brackets to fit the bumper I was given. The fit and finish are great. It looks like it has a really strong coating, but time will tell if the preparation underneath has been done well enough that the coating doesn't peel right off the mount. The original look is good though. These are also rigid braces, there is no wobble with them. The thickness is good. They are easy to install like OEM mounts. They include new clips for captive nuts, but you need or need to buy OEM screws. It will take a little more fiddling to line them up correctly as they are slightly different. It's worth noting, however, that if you're using a fog light guard like me (rather than just the plastic tube that's basically trimmed) you'll need to push it out to get to the bottom nut to tighten the LED Block as soon as you aim it at the target. You can't get a wrench off the back without cutting off a piece of bumper sheet metal to make room for the socket (which is an option). In no way a violation of the terms of the contract. That being said, quality hardware, you won't find anything comparable cheaper so I decided to give it a try. It would be great to have amber lighting in heavy rain and possible snow until my welding project is complete!
