It makes absolutely no sense to buy it if you have a first generation Air. It was possible to change the first air to this one, so I took it. A tablet of golden color is cool, yes, but no more. The screen still looks as cool as in Air 1, the mute button has been removed, I didn’t use it often, but now its absence sometimes affects me, I have to curl up to turn off the sound. Thickness, yes, it is very thin, but I don’t know what the point is. For me personally, the thickness of the tablet does not play any role, within reason of course. I had to buy a new smart case, which is suitable for him, and the prices for them, frankly, are very, very good. The difference in the speed of work is completely invisible to the eye (compared to the same air1). The only thing that made me very happy was the new camera module. Here, yes, they did not blunder, I use the camera often. Touch ID is meaningless and merciless for me personally. And on the phone and on the iPad, it ceases to distinguish the finger after a week of use. And each time to hammer it again - annoying. To summarize, if you have air1, you can safely skip this pad and wait for more interesting innovations from Apple.
