I bought these for my boys (7 and 9) for Christmas 2 years ago. This is STILL her favorite time-lapse. You'll read the book over and over again because it's full of useful tools. It's not just the basics. This definitely takes their stop motion animation further to the next level. The only thing is that the camera broke after 2 years but to be honest for that much money the disc and the book are worth nothing! I can see the 2 years we have had this camera and the fact that it has withstood the daily hourly use in a home with 5 young children and quite frankly has outlasted every other toy they have had. So there is a miracle in my book. Buy it. This makes a great gift that is tech savvy enough for this generation, yet develops the creativity and patience this generation often lacks! LOVE IT!
