Overheats and shuts down, long delay - buy the ones that cost a few bucks more. I have 2 laptops in my home office, one using one of these, and the same SABRENT branded item for $5 more, a 4-way remote switch, and 2 TVs installed. The other (SABRENT) works great, instant image when I switch to it, no issues with long term use. No it overheats, like an 8-10 second delay when I switch inputs to this one it gets confused and the screen flashes a few times. After a while it gets very hot and the sound cuts out. Sometimes, when things get hot, the video also starts to cut. Overall a poor quality product. I thought it was ok so I didn't go back into the returns window to get one that costs another $5 but now I regret sticking with it. I tried different settings and fixes and the problem was with this item. Worst $5 I've ever saved. Another one that works much better is the SABRENT brand.
