Careless handling of the product, resulting in scratches.

This is a beautiful mug and at first glance very functional. The first one I ordered had a defect on the cup and a small scratch on the lid, so I ordered a replacement. The second mug I ordered had a very scratched lid. It looks like whoever does the packaging is very careless with the product. I was really hoping to get this for Christmas but now I'll look elsewhere for a teacup. Very disappointed with this experience.
