I bought this footstool because I couldn't get in and out of my new belly button high bed without help. I'm 5'5' and 160 pounds. One night I had to run to the bathroom and when I came back and stepped on a stool my foot went right through it and yes IT HURTS! The stool was broken into several pieces, jagged pieces of wood sticking out at each end. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement which I absolutely didn't want to use because when the previous one broke it hurt! I actually bought a much more durable one (Inspired Living Folding Step Stool Heavy Duty, 9" tall, ONYX BLACK). Now the seller is asking me to replace it. So I paid for the one that nearly took me to the ER. and now they charge me for a replacement which i don't want to use if it's not for a child i wouldn't waste money
