Firstly, they have a very strong chemical smell when opened. Luckily, it really only separates from the body and doesn't linger on the hands. I've washed the brushes and the only ones that fall out are natural hair (full brown hair) and they shed quite a bit. I'll try to use them anyway until they run out of hair. Rschunimagu. The brushes on the side do not indicate what they do (e.g. lip brush, arbor brush, etc.). The case also has a magnetic closure which is good, much better than velcro. It's also creamy, almost white. The larger brushes also came with soft plastic sleeves that fit over the bristles, making them handy for traveling. I don't think I will ever use a case because of the smell.
