I bought these street lights for my Christmas Village thinking they would make a great addition to my home. I had problems from the start. First of all, it took almost 40 minutes to put C size batteries in the battery compartment. When I finally installed them, I breathed a sigh of relief and started placing my streetlights. The cable that connects the two lights is so short that you can only logically and aesthetically place them on either side of the building. You cannot place them at both ends of the street. Okay, I compromised and put her on the path that leads to church. The last straw and the reason I sent them back was because they wouldn't get up no matter what I did. They are so light and so fragile that even nail glue won't keep them upright. I think you could lean them against a building, but I would only do that if it was a Halloween village. This is not a good buy for your Christmas village. Stupid nonsense
