Review on 🛥️ DB Electrical 240-58005 Starter Solenoid Relay for Yamaha Wave Runner 2004-2015 (6B6-81940-00-00) by Brandon Carr

My 2010 Yamaha VX Waverunner didn't always start when I pressed the start button. About 30% of the time it turned normally and the rest of the time the starter didn't turn. That's not enough to go on the water. I was afraid it was a bad cog/bendix cog and the thought of fixing it was very frustrating. So before I embarked on this path, I wanted to try Low Hanging Fruits. I fully charged the battery to make sure the battery is not the problem. it didn't matter. Then I changed the solenoid valve and now it starts 3 times in a row. Seems to be fixed. I would give these 5 runs, same shape and fit except connector pins are a different size. But it was easy to fix. I cut off the old contacts (with wires) from the old solenoid and the same from the new solenoid. I soldered the old connectors to the new soldered ones (strips/solder/tape). Put everything back together and I'm good to go.
