I bought this for my 3 year old daughter. At this price I wasn't expecting much but if anything I realized this is a stocking. We spoil our kids (a lot) so I have literally NO expectations that this light fixture will be something she'll love because her room and her sibling's look like a toy store. When she opened it she liked it and said it was cute etc but it was Christmas so "let's move on to the next one". Everything changed quickly when I turned it on later that night. I suspect the instructions say to charge it first (which I didn't) but it had enough charge to last a couple of days as it did. She just loved the color change and how soft it is. She kept taking it apart and saying how soft it is and so far it's holding up really well and I only charged it 1 time when she first used it and she also uses it in her playhouse during the day so am I VERY impressed with the battery life. so far. Good: 1. The remote has a TON of options for colors, brightness, etc.2. The material is very smooth and soft, so you can carry it around without worrying about it breaking when dropped etc. Endless colors to keep your kid entertained.4. Perfect little night light for kids5. The battery life is very impressive. Other Notes: Nothing bad to report and as long as it lasts a few months I'm very happy. We bought her a hippo and I think it was the perfect choice. There aren't many hippos in toy stores so this was different. If you have a little girl/boy this is the perfect gift for them as a night light or even a daytime toy (if they look like my daughter).
