Casual shorts in my opinion
Plain cotton shorts for sporty kids. These are lightweight shorts for my boy. Great for summer because it's thin so he doesn't get hot in it. Easy to wash in the washing machine and will not shrink. There are decent pockets if he wants to put things in. It's really big on him so we use drawstrings to tighten the shorts around his waist. He walks on the slimmer side.
