Review on 🏌️ Polara Anti-Slice Golf Balls - Self-Correcting Design to Reduce Hooks and Slices, Perfect Combination of Performance and Enjoyment! by Geoff Cooper

Great weekend warrior!

Let's get rid of the moral question first. Yes, it's an illegal golf ball so the drastic improvement in my performance in the first two games I used the ball doesn't really count I guess. That being said, the odds of me getting a tour card and playing Tiger are still very slim, and I (like most amateur players) took a lot of liberties with mules and wedges and getting the ball out of harm's way. What will most likely happen if I hit a tight fairway and go down on a tee shot, or if houses are tight on the right, my power slice suddenly reappears. When I played with that ball it all went away. I mean gone 28 precise shots from the driver and 12 precise shots from the fairway (for 2 games). Not "it wasn't that bad, just a little tarnished" - like a bullet. Like some others who reviewed it, I noticed that the ball tends to go down or "fall" off the tee and I lost a lot of distance on the first few shots. This was mostly corrected when I placed the ball significantly higher than normal. Overall, even with height adjustment, I was still 15-20 meters short. In my opinion a profitable exchange for a gain in accuracy. The fairway woods had no noticeable distance difference. Aiming the ball is crucial. It moves straight in the direction you throw it every time (except for a healing shot, which was saved by my mulligan). So if you tend to cut and lose balls, and you understand that like mulling and foot wedges, your game is based on free following of the rules, then get these balls and enjoy YOUR game much more. If you practice a lot and are improving as a player or are already a low handicap, avoid these balls so we scammers have a chance to beat you.
