Review on ghd Max and Mini Stylers: Professional Hair Straighteners with 1/2 inch Mini & 2 inch Max Ceramic Flat Irons by Betsy Mitchell

I'll start by saying that I had a very positive experience with my old GHD which I later passed on to my sister and had to buy this new one. I know I bought a quality product, so I was willing to pay more (significantly more considering some straighteners sell for a few tens of dollars), but even then I wanted to spend a few months before I actually considering this product. Here it is: I've had positive experiences using it on short hair, about 1 inch in length, once or twice a week on average. In addition to the technical details, which you'll read for yourself, I can say that this GHD feels solid and sturdy in your hands, doesn't feel overheated, and has never burned my hair or done weird things. Warming up to temperature takes a few seconds, and it does its job even better than my old GHD. The handle is comfortable and allows you to move the straightener around your head with perfect control and direction. I'm not aware of cheaper models and they might work just as well as this GHD, but I hate taking the risk of spending half the money on something that doesn't last long or doesn't make my hair look the way I want it to . FYI my old GHD still works great for my sister after about 6 years.
