The comb is very attractive and has a certain aesthetic appeal. It's a lot darker than the picture and had a few whitish dull spots but I'll try to get rid of them by treating it with wood oil. It is heavy and feels comfortable in the hand. However, for me, combing my hair hardly does a good job. I have fine, baby-like, short, layered hair that's really almost impossible to brush, but it doesn't detangle at all, even though I use conditioner in the shower. The teeth are very thick and blunt so this is a good head massager but hardly a comb that combs fine hair really well. Would probably give 5 stars for looks and finish and 2 stars for functionality.
