My AUX died and it was horrible. It makes no sense to have a car without AUX. FM radio was a nightmare for days. It wasn't easy figuring out how to disassemble my '09 Avalon but luckily I was able to find a diagram of how to remove the parts and it worked. The work is not easy, but with a lot of patience you can do it. This new adapter works fine. I will post another update in a few months if there are any issues. My only hope is that it lasts a long time.
