Out of the box I liked the design. Comes with a handy carrying handle. Has adapter for use on a water hose. It looked like it was made for heavy use. Pocketed everything to fill an above ground pool from a well water source. I was hoping the filter would help remove the rust as advertised. It's not like this. I have no doubt that the filter will hold back large particles and minerals, but it doesn't help against rust. The pool was yellow after a few hours. Filling took 3 days. The filter (in my opinion) did not help. Perhaps it works better as an additional city water filter provided on RV sites. Something simple. But not for well water. At least not the actual filter. Update: the seller didn't ask me to exchange for money or remove, just raised me on well water (I'm a town mouse who moved to the country). Here is the seller's reply: "But rust and iron ions in the water are different. Our filter can filter out rust in the water, but iron ions in the water cannot be filtered out. The iron ions oxidize for some time after contact with oxygen, which makes the water look yellow, so the water you use will not turn yellow when it is first pumped out. If there is rust in the water caused by water pipe rust, our filter can filter out the rust in the water, but these are two different conditions." I changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars based on my first experience of the quality of the filter system and updated information from the seller. It was user error after all.
