This thing not only didn't work, it annoyed us both until it did. First I was trying to understand a few cryptic instructions and a poorly designed user interface. After about 45 minutes of trying, I thought I had set it to four hours of time-lapse. I parked the car. After four hours, I pulled out the chip to look at it on my desktop computer. I had two stills of my knees and part of the table. Undeterred, I made another attempt, which ended not with a time lapse but with a motionless leg. My wife was the one who wanted her to record timelapses and videos in nature, so she took control. She spent 1.5 hours reading the instructions, trying to apply them to a confusing UI, hoping to tweak the timing of a pomegranate blossom ready to bloom. After the three hours she sat down, we looked at the SD card and found two shots of her kneeling and the table she was sitting at trying to study this affliction. It was clear that it was time for both of us to try again. . For the first time we were confident we had figured it out and we were going to shoot a four hour time lapse of a grenade. As time passed, neither of us wanted to try to watch the video on the camera for fear of deleting everything that was there. There is no fear - there was nothing. This time we tried again, confident that we were ready for four more of our stop motion videos. I will post what we got with this review. I have no idea what it is. In the new and unwanted state, the camera will no longer turn on. We tested 12 batteries and found that their voltage dropped to 1.25V with brief use. Putting in new batteries made no difference. The camera does not turn on. We see this as a write-off and our time as lost forever.
