I returned a similar item that someone gave us for a baby shower and bought it instead because the size specification said it was just over 7 inches wide. I was hoping it would fit nicely into the wooden built-in drawers of our changing table. Unfortunately it was exactly the same as the other car we returned except that it was not well made and smelled very strongly of chemicals. Pretty much wasted time sending it back and ordering it.
