When I bought this attachment set for my Porter Cable hair dryer, I already knew that this set was universal. That being said, straight out of the box when I tried the end of the nozzle on my heat gun, yes they didn't fit; they just slipped. <-- Which, as some of the other reviewers have pointed out. ** Some ingenuity must now be shown here. ** To place these on the end of my heat gun I had to use pliers to bend 1-2 of the edges giving it a slightly oval shape. Not too oval though, just enough that it has some pressure to stay on the end of the heat gun. *** But that wasn't enough to make getting dressed and undressed from behind painful. The pliers I used weren't anything special, they were regular 6.5 inch tongue and groove pliers. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and recommend them to people, just remember to mod them for your gear, otherwise yes, they get too big and just end up falling off.
