Exceptional headphones with one minor flaw: the noise canceling isn't very effective. It performs well when used by itself, but while you are driving a car or riding in another mode of transportation, it recognizes voice, and in addition, it recognizes speech in songs as well, which lowers the level of noise reduction. This feature might be helpful for somebody, but for me, all it did was get in the way of what I was trying to do. Yet, there are occasions when it mistakes the movement of wind for speech, which in turn lowers the level of noise reduction. There is a nifty Mi Buds M8 application that can be used to control the headphones. You can set it to a variety of various levels of noise reduction; however, selecting any one of those levels will not affect the headphones' ability to identify speech.
