I have been using this brace and the left one every night for bilateral carpal tunnels for the last 6 years. When I sleep with it on, I usually wake up with minimal wrist pain. This is a very supportive orthosis with minimal flex. If your wrists are very small, you may find that the braces do not restrict movement 100% no matter how small you make them. Because these braces are so strong it can be uncomfortable to put weight on them for long periods of time so this is strictly a night brace for me. Optimizing the metal can alleviate these issues for people with very small wrists. Suspenders usually last at least a few years before the Velcro is as strong as it used to be. Sleeping with fluffy blankets speeds up this process. I was only able to machine wash them on the gentle cycle while removing the metal first. (They increase perspiration and after a while they start smelling like other braces.) It's very rare that I get a brace that's either sharp or gets sharp, but it's not that common. On average they are very well made. Overall, I can highly recommend this bandage, especially as a night bandage. Of all the braces I've tried for my carpal tunnel over the years, this is my favorite.
