Best Brace - Hand and Wrist Brace

I wear these almost every day. I have also found that I can wash it in the kitchen sink and YES I just toss it in the dryer on medium/high and it dries in about 1 hour. It says "air dry only" but it took a long time to air dry so I put mine in the dryer and it worked. I have to wash it at least twice a week and it still looks new. Anyone who needs to wear a hand brace is great.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I cut my face almost every night

I have to say it's comfortable and keeps my wrist in place but every other morning I wear it wakes me up Cuts on face. Some of the edges are very sharp and so far I've had cuts on my nose, chin, cheek and forehead. I don't sleep with my hands in front of my face, but it still happens. After months of not wearing it I had to use it last night and tried to tuck in every edge and checked I didn't have any open velcro but this morning I had a bloody cut on the top. my nose. I will no longer use it.

  • Easy to read control panel

Perfect braces for braces, splints and braces

I bought these to replace the one my doctor gave me. This is the same make and model that I received from the doctor. I wanted to wear another when I wash and dry the other. The bandage is comfortable and easy to put on/adjust. I got this brace because it includes removable metal supports at the top and bottom to prevent wrist twisting and rotation. I can still use my computer, drive and eat in my car, although sometimes I take it off to make it easier. These braces do everything the doctor…

  • Great for a small home

The quality has gone down!

I have purchased several of these braces for my carpal tunnel over the years. I like that it's lightweight, easy to put on, adjustable in size and waterproof. However, the last pair of braces I bought broke after a few hours of wear, see picture. The plastic loop on which the tape is wound simply snaps into place. After that plastic blow I tried using a clip but the broken loop got caught all over the place and pulled on the threads of my clothes rendering them unusable. This is the second time

  • Absolutely amazing!

New design doesn't suit me :(

I have a ten year old Hely & Weber wrist that I'm currently wearing while typing. It's old and falling apart. And it's perfect. I have sewn/ I've glued/fixed this current wrist guard to hold it together as it's amazing AND makes my right wrist very happy Hely & Weber wrist guard forever but unfortunately the current design is different from my old gold one as a person with thin bones and small wrists the new guard actually hurt my wrist to wear it and try to type or use a computer mouse I was…

8 yr Broken Arm

This brace was exactly what my daughter's doctor gave her 2 years ago for her broken right hand Has. She was mature enough not to take it off except for a quick wash if allowed, which was a great blessing compared to a hard cast. Two years ago, a medical device company tried to charge us $70 for these braces. I declined and in the end they agreed on a much cheaper price. Well we just had a second broken arm at the house, left side and stuff like that so after the X-ray we went home with us…

The new design doesn't suit me :(

I have a ten year old Hely & Weber wrist that I'm currently typing on. It's ancient and falling apart. Perfect updated wrist protector to keep it hold together as it's amazing The current design is different from my old gold the new version is significantly heavier/thicker/stiffer so for someone with small bones and small wrists the new protection actually hurt my wrist to wear and trying to type or use a computer mouse i was SO disappointed no matter how i set the protection it was very…

Pros
  • Orthopedic Felt
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Sturdy construction and long lasting with everyday use

I have been using this brace and the left one every night for bilateral carpal tunnels for the last 6 years. When I sleep with it on, I usually wake up with minimal wrist pain. This is a very supportive orthosis with minimal flex. If your wrists are very small, you may find that the braces do not restrict movement 100% no matter how small you make them. Because these braces are so strong it can be uncomfortable to put weight on them for long periods of time so this is strictly a night brace for
