Bought for an older Archos Jukebox 15 (2002 music player), just wanted to play with it. The form factor is ideal, as the rigidity of many Archos laptops is based on a 2.5-inch hard drive, so simpler, more compact solutions just don't cut it. Used a Micro SDHC to CF card and a 32GB SDHC card and the combination worked. One issue with this: I initially had trouble with the music player recognizing the device, resulting in it not launching. I opened it up and found that the jumper pads were soldered to 5.5 volts, not 3.3. I had to disconnect (solder) the 5.5V jumper and solder it to a 3.3V jumper. After that it worked great. Please check the jumpers for your application. If the design is ever changed, the jumpers should be a little easier to install than coming from the factory. That's the only negative I have with him. The rest of the device works great.
