While I believe in saving money by buying tools that aren't used every day, pliers are definitely not the place to go. The 6" clamp didn't snap at all, regardless of tension. The two big clamps jammed but the tolerances were pretty sloppy and instead of exchanging for a new set they decided to just get a refund.
