Makes working with tools and equipment easier

My job description can also be greasing, I work as a technician in the city so I greasing everything from police cars to big garbage trucks (google lodal garbage trucks) this thing makes life easier, at the same time i have found several fittings that simply do not take lubrication, they would not accept lubrication with or without this fitting, in general i will buy more of this product, i would like the "mini gunโ€ version in one 90 degree angle for even more features.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Available in white only

Guise gets in the car, not in!

On one occasion, grease ran all over the end of the fitting where it snaps into place. I've tried a few fittings that I know need lubricating to make sure it wasn't a clogged Zerk fitting. No, this Lock'n Lube definitely doesn't seal properly. I've tried installing a replacement gasket and jaw set following the instructions in the box and also tried using a vise but couldn't remove the faulty one. Spent too much time on this. It was a waste of my time and money.

WOW Fantastic tool!

Just received this clutch --- WOW - first impressions, haven't even used it yet! Very very well made, feels solid in hand and given the actual locking mechanism it should be a great tool for clearing dirt during greasing routines. Update: Having put this into production I have to agree with myself---great tool! :) In fact, it's so good I changed a few Zerks to accommodate its longer length. I used to use a Lincoln variant that swiveled for tight spots, which I've had several of. By replacingโ€ฆ

Amazing product for grease guns

I'm tired of pulling Zerk fittings or having trouble getting the end of the grease nozzle on Zerk fittings in awkward places. So I decided to try this product and I'm glad I did. It works as advertised. Makes greasing my tractor, ATV and trailer easier. I've seen reviews that there is grease smeared all over it, that's not the case, I've had no problems at all. On a Zerc bolting, the ball bearing was stuck due to dirt and no lube was injected. I took the pickaxe and sprayed wd 40 and insertedโ€ฆ

50% success for tools and equipment

Bought two of these. One works exactly as advertised. The other slips 50% of the time, so the fat seeps everywhere. Both clutches are mounted on the same grease guns - Lincoln 1162. So 5 stars for one and 1 star for the other. There is no customer service department on their website. Toll number and address only. A hard-to-find manual on the website says to hold the lever forward if it slips. Doesn't work with pressure. Also, their website boasts that it is one-handed operation. It's not likeโ€ฆ

One of the best tools in my box and it's just a grease tip.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive reviews I was initially skeptical but was quickly convinced that this is the best accessory for any grease gun. I am a trained car mechanic and fill in a lot of lubricant in my daily work. Since adding this coupler to my grease gun (Lincoln 1162, they match perfectly) I have never seen a leak around the grease fittings. I've used this on some dirty, chewed up, baked on fittings and it still manages to grip firmly and seal great. As I said, the only problem Iโ€ฆ

Good idea in concept, not so good in reality

First, we have a ranch, so we have a lot of gear that needs oiling. Most have at least one hard-to-reach fitting, often resulting in a mess because the coupler doesn't fit securely. The worst is our Snokat with 26 grease nipples on the axles and transmission. None of them are easily accessible and most of them are "blind". I was hoping that this locking coupler would help reduce the amount of grease that doesn't get into the fitting and make locking the coupler a little easier. I just servicedโ€ฆ

Awesome little tool, definitely worth $

This is the first time I've bought an air operated grease gun since I recently installed something with cubic zirconia fittings for the first time. After reading a bit I realized that when dealing with the forces, airguns are the way to go (I picked up a cheaper OTC gun that seems great). As my car is very cramped (VW Golf R) and even if the gauges were in an easily accessible spot, it would probably still be difficult to hold the tool on the gauge, especially at the right angle. Also, lube can
