I'm reconsidering and downgrading my previous review: I originally gave this TeKGrip five stars and found that I liked it better than the previous version of Grip-IT that I had had for about 2 years. After two weeks of using the TekGrip, it got stuck and the left arm wouldn't fully extend. See similar images posted by another user with the same problem. I had high hopes for this thinner model, but it quickly fell through. A star. I had a previous version of this product, the Universal Grip-IT, for over two years and it has served me well. I like this TeKGrip even more. It's thinner and better looking than the previous one. The knob and internal transmission mechanism feel more solid and precise. And the sides stick more firmly to my Samsung Note 8. I'm hoping it proves at least as durable as the previous one, which I took a bit of abuse but lasted two years. I recommend this Grip-IT for air vents.
