Ventilation fasteners, very reliable, Works with a phone in a case. The only problem is pressing the unlock button behind the phone during use.

So easy and convenient to mount and remove your phone. The anchor arm on the bottom is a great feature. All other phone holders fell or sagged and blocked the vent. I bought 3 more for family members who love mine. I highly recommend this product

Vent connections are different/weak than the first one I bought about a year ago. The springs are a pain, they need to go back to the previous tension clamp design. Why everyone is trying to reinvent the wheel when the wheel works perfectly is beyond me.

Works well but be aware that when moving from one machine to another the rubber tabs tend to stick. I moved it to a rental car. I had to stick my fingernail in and pull out to break the "filling", unfortunately I only got half of the rubber tabs free and it didn't fit well afterwards. We have one in each of our machines.

Not an easy install. It pinched part of the vent but not the other side, so it hasn't come loose. After several attempts the choice was to leave it hanging and useless or destroy the vent to remove it, which is what I finally had to do. Terrible, with minimal instructions just showing a picture with a few arrows indicating how to go in. I feel very comfortable, but in the end I destroyed the vent.

I have bought these before and needed one for my truck. Eventually they changed the design and instead of locking forks that slide into the AC vent, they now have a hook on the top fork that is designed to snap into the horizontal AC vent. That someone made this thing a terrible purchase. You have to grab the bracket and try to lift the hook if you want to move or remove it. I will not buy these again!

Bought this mount for me and it was perfect, very comfortable and fits anywhere, snaps onto anyone attach vent. Fantastic functionality and all. I bought this for my mum as a present and it appeared to be a slightly different build, not sure if anything has changed at the company. Anyway, it held up well, but broke after a few weeks. I ordered another one and it just broke in half. Disappointing after my old version worked very well.

i like them, really! BUT - they break too often. I went through about 7 of these in 3 years. The gears "disappear" (slow down) only ever on them, the gears that compress and lock your device in the mount. Or the ball (the ball that allows you to "fix" it at different angles) will slow down due to bumps on the road. (I use mine with a small cell phone). Fix these problems and it should be present in every moving car on the road. Please make a flat mounting plate with the kit for those who want…

I'm reconsidering and downgrading my previous review: I originally gave this TeKGrip five stars and found that I liked it better than the previous version of Grip-IT that I had had for about 2 years.
