I had one 20 years ago and it worked perfectly. However, this "Chinese replica" has serious quality control issues and is not intended for the original (Chinese non-outsourced version). The "3 nickel snail" was manufactured with too much room to fit 4 dimes inside, making the "snail" considerably lighter than the original design. Additionally, the brass-colored sleeve and nickel shank (due to insufficient weight) did not have the correct machining clearance to correctly solve when the second half of the illusion (returning the stack of nickel coins) was complete. Therefore, the user/illusionist must HIT the device against the surface with enough force to draw the attention of everyone in the room/house, and a hard hit would usually also loosen the real nickel plating, exposing the "nickel ball" and ruining the device Illusion. I want distributors of Chinese outsourcing products to check the quality control / operation of these products, constant and frequent customer complaints!
