I work in IT and have repaired hundreds of laptops and desktops over the years. I finally decided to break down and get one of these after losing the screws and forgetting what size screw went where when reassembling. I looked at all the options for these boards and settled on iFixit despite all the reviews that the grip doesn't work, but I've read that the magnetic attraction is stronger. After unboxing and testing this board and pen worked perfectly. . The pen didn't work right away, but all I had to do was shake the pen tip a few times and breathe a little and it started working fine. I love that this pen has a thin tip so you have more room on the board for screws.
