This is the first time I've used any type of mount for my phone. The mount and my phone survived their first ride on my bike today and I didn't notice the phone shaking while riding even though the road wasn't very bumpy. It seems that the piece of rubber that wraps around the four corners of the phone is only there to give the driver security, it doesn't offer as much support as the two side pieces. Even though they grip the sides of the phone so tightly, I can't help but worry that my phone might get damaged if I use it regularly. Deter thieves because it was fairly easy to install, if I had to consistently remove and reinstall the whole thing every time I left my bike unattended it would make things worse, especially since I had a small Allen key (included with purchase) would need ) for this. While I don't know how attractive the parts left on the bike are to thieves, at least they can't steal the entire mount. Also, since I just received this mount, I don't know how many times it can survive being dismantled this way. TLDR: I am very happy with this purchase, but having used it so few times I cannot vouch for the long term quality of the product.
