I've been using Sennheiser HD 559 headphones every day for around 3.5 years to play games on the PC. They sounded incredible and were used heavily. However, they've been having some issues lately, so I went to Revain to check out their headset options. At first I wanted to buy another pair of Hi-Fi open-back headphones, but Revain recommended these Logitech G435 wireless USB headphones. I was intrigued by the quality I could get in an on-ear wireless gaming headset for only $80, so I decided to buy these. I have used Logitech G433 headphones and I really liked them and have trusted Logitech for a long time as they have always made reliable products. This headset is no exception to that quality statement. talk about fit. These headphones are not very big. However, they are just right for people with smaller to normal head sizes. I have a pretty big head. These headphones fit me very well, however I had to adjust them almost to their maximum extension. Nevertheless, they are very comfortable, give my ears plenty of room in the ear pads and, thanks to their remarkably low weight of only 164 grams, hardly tire. The only complaint I have is with the headband, which could use a lot more padding, but it does the job and doesn't cause much discomfort. Sound: In terms of sound, they definitely don't come close to my previous headphones, the Sennheiser HD 559. But that's okay, because I wasn't expecting that. These headphones feature a good-quality microphone, wireless connectivity, premium build materials, and above-average comfort, all for $20 less than Sennheiser's MSRP above. Instead, these headphones sound very good for their price. They sound almost identical to the Logitech G433 headphones, with even slightly more clarity at low frequencies. However, it's worth noting that these headphones have poor background noise cancellation. So if this is important, I suggest you look elsewhere. Battery and Connectivity: The advertised battery life of 18 hours is pretty accurate in my experience and lasts for a few days of average gaming. If you plug your headphones in to charge every few days, they'll never run out of power. Connectivity surprised me. There's absolutely no noticeable lag, which is already an improvement over the myriad of other USB wireless gaming headsets I've tried, some of which cost nearly twice the price of these G435s. However, I am not claiming that I have NOT tried them with their Bluetooth mode and have not tried them on any console that supports these headphones, only on my PC. Overall verdict: I have a very positive opinion of these headphones. While they're definitely not perfect, I think they're a very good $80 choice, and I plan on using these headphones as my everyday gaming headset until it's time for me to move on due to wear and tear. Good job Logitech.
