Review on 🔄 Brother BU-100CL Belt Unit: The Perfect Replacement for HL-4040CN and HL-4070CDW Series - Retail Packaging by Quintin Boner

One reviewer stated that his/her ribbon unit did not arrive in the original packaging. Mine arrived in the OEM box pictured. The installation instructions were very clear. The reset instructions weren't accurate for my model (old MFC-9840CDW) so they talked about the +/- button, and I have a "menu" button. Regardless, in less than a minute of trial and error, I found the correct reset page and then clicked "OK" twice as instructed. Lately I've had black borders on both sides when duplexing. Now that only one side has printed, there seems to be less black on the back edges, but not on the front. The worst problem is that I ordered a block of tape but received two orders each with different order numbers in the same large box (i.e. each block of tape was in its own original packaging, both were in one large box, one large box also had two bills of lading) . With a few clicks I was able to print a free return label for the second drum unit.
