This rice container is awesome! The rubber gasket really makes for a tight seal. Before disassembling for washing before use, pay special attention to how the rubber seal is routed, so that you can reassemble it correctly after washing. If you wash it and then pick it up again, you probably won't understand how the seal should be there. Let me tell you it doesn't fit the way you think it should. This rice container is perfect for my needs. I cook homemade dog food and my recipe includes rice so I need to have lots of food on hand. I give both thumbs up, I love it!
