I previously bought an external USB stick and had to return it; it does not work. I've spent more disks than I've earned. When this came out, a great price and good reviews, I decided to give it a try. And Revain's return policy is excellent, so I'm just risking a couple of broken discs. I've only made a few but so far so good! I burn (in some cases convert) videos to DVD format. I can't confirm it's faster with limited use, but it works as advertised. It is quiet and has very little vibration. Connection via USB 3. One day I will try USB-C. Maybe I can remove my 20 year old USB 2 drive.
