I was looking for a dress for my 11 year old band's concert. It should be knee length. When I received this dress and took it out of the box, I realized that it looked very small. Luckily my daughter is slim and was able to wear them to her concert with leggings but she definitely won't be able to do much with them. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to buy a larger size (because I ordered the largest size on sale), but I suggest going up a size if you can. Also, she liked this dress, especially that it had pockets.
