I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
Tested by AS SSD Benchmark USB3.0 (FAT32, exFAT, NTFS) Read 65 / Write 35 USB2.0 (FAT32, exFAT, NTFS) Read 30 / Write 22 And interestingly, I have two such flash drives - 8GB and 32GB - and they have absolutely identical speed characteristics.
