This is soft and giving. The biggest selling point for me is that I could get one for a shorter neck. I have repeatedly looked in stores and medical supplies but everyone offered one size fits all and it felt like I was choking. I wear this when on the mower to cut down on the bumps to my neck. Very comfortable
