Overall, this USB 3.0 hub works great with other USB products. Please note that for use with some products, you need to plug it into an outlet. I don't think it's worth $45 but didn't want to wait for the price to drop. Anyway, my USB 3.0 compatible computer didn't recognize it at first. After troubleshooting and reconnecting the hub to my computer with my own USB 3.0 cable, it worked fine and recognized all my devices. -Technical sales support and timely assistance from a polite and helpful team member. They will send me a new USB 3.0 cable and I will use a hub with my own cable for now. I was fortunate to have my own cable - otherwise I'd be a little frustrated as I wouldn't be using it now.
