I have fit legs. My legs have been screaming at me for even just looking at them funny for a week. I also have the option of taking a longer holiday to Europe later in the summer and unfortunately I need to bring the feet I was born with so I was looking for shoes that would hold those feet. Angry Feet were happily silent as they walked for miles (or miles, so to speak) contemplating art and architecture. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Last week I had to attend a work conference and I decided it would be the perfect time to try out some hiking boots for my vacation. The hotel was over 3 miles from the convention center and my boss was in great shape and insisted on going back and forth EVERY FUCKING DAY! These walks, combined with convention walks and general sightseeing in Chicago, meant we ran 9-12 miles every day for a week. I'm not in good shape and may be gaining a few pounds more than I should. It's a recipe or a disaster. To be honest, the calves were killing me. My hips threatened to abandon me. My lower back and I don't talk anymore. But my legs? My weary legs, refusing to cooperate when stretched further than between my sofa and the fridge, are happy as damn clams! Not a sound from the restless couple! (Since then I've been walking at least 2 miles every day to accommodate those calves, thighs and back, and I'm happy to report that they line up like good little soldiers.) I'm buying a second pair right now, because each Sometimes when I find a great pair of shoes I throw them in the ground and when I go to change I end up screaming in anger that they are no longer made. how out! Believe me. Your legs will thank you.
