Made this purchase for a monitor replacement rather than the TV. The P2770HD replaces the 23-inch Acer H233H, which has similar inputs for DVI, HDMI and of course VGA. This was a requirement as I already had a gaming system and a PC connected. The update was more for the gaming side than anything else. This monitor is aesthetically pleasing with a pink and black finish and sharp, tapered edges. (The photos on Revain don't do this device justice.) As others have said many times here, it shakes slightly when touched or hit, but since I own it I don't see that as an issue as much.. as to the time when it was mentioned. My previous monitor didn't have a remote control, so switching between inputs was done via the control panel in the lower right corner in front of the display, like the P2770HD. By swiping your thumb or index finger across the controls, you can "wake them up" by displaying a red LED for each function. Sometimes it can take a pass or two for them to appear, but once they appear it's a simple press of the input switch to toggle between PC, DVI, HDMI and TV. This can also be done using the "Source" button on the remote, but it's nice to know I'll never get hurt if the remote is dead or lost. I suppose sitting at a desk with that big monitor was the biggest adjustment, but I like the larger screen size so that's not a disadvantage. The sound output on this monitor/tv is comparable to any tv, it's not great, it's not horrible like many other tv's I've had. If you're comparing a computer speaker with 2.1 or higher and home theater sound, don't buy it for more sound than another TV. I hooked up a set of Bose 2.1 speakers to the headphone audio jack on the back and it sounds more than adequate. I can control the volume with either the remote or the Bose volume control. The screen quality is excellent, luckily my device is dead pixel free. The game looks like someone would like to play Call of Duty (select version). I have a digital OTA antenna in the coax connector and I can switch between gaming and computer time to local stuff and I don't need a cable in that room. It was good to go. The only negative, and it's small, is the display input label from switching inputs which hangs on HDMI and when switching the PC it takes a little longer than necessary but that's the same with any TV I think in that regard. (The upside is that the label shows local time.) I just felt I needed to put something on the minus side, like I said, a bit problematic. I find that it shines much, much more as a monitor with all possibilities than just as a television. Make this kid work!
